Q: I was advised by you to use this to get rid of tyre marks but it's left a white patchy appearance on the pavers in the exact spot I applied the cleaner. The drive has been sealed with block magic and paving sealer (top coat). It almost looks as if the driveway cleaner has penetrated the sealant. I'm thinking of brushing on 1 coat of block magic to hide the marks and then 1 coat of paving sealer. Firstly, would the sealer bond to the existing sealant? Secondly, prior to application of sealant and bearing in mind the top layers of the pavers are now water resistant because of the sealer, do i need to be as strict regarding waiting for several dry days before applying sealer or could I get away with 1 dry day prior to application?
A: We would suggest a single top up on the affected area with block magic. This will adhere to the existing surface ok. Hope that helps.
Q: Is this the best product to remove tyre marks? Our drive has been sealed with block magic and the top coat of paving sealer.
A: Yes, the driveway cleaner is mostly used as a traffic film remover to remove dust, dirt and tyre marks from driveways. It is the best product we have for this purpose.
Q: Will this driveway cleaner damage the plants that are grown at the edge of our driveway. The run off from cleaning the drive will run into the flower beds as they are the same level as the drive.
A: This driveway cleaner is non toxic so will not harm plants, but we would always recommend watering surrounding areas before using any of our cleaners. Then any unwanted run offs from the liquid will be diluted to the degree no harm can occur. Hope that helps.
The drive cleaner for block paving did not remove all the staining but overall did good job
The driveway cleaner product does a job. Happy with a purchase.
The big question is; does this expensive product actually work? Well, I have been cleaning drives longer than most and can say, without fear of contradiction; yes!! Be careful though. In my humble but professional opinion, don't spray this cleaner. Mix it 1:1 with water and CAREFULLY put it onto drive, bricks, tarmac, etc, using a watering-can. Leave it at least 2-3 hours and carefully wash off. Remember; this product is chlorine based and will kill most organic life. Great product if a tad dear.
