Natural Stone Impregnator (Solvent Free)

Smartseal Solvent FREE Stone Impregnator is a hard wearing water-based stone and masonry impregnator for use on most* types of natural stone floors and worktops. It can be used on slate, granite, travertine and limestone floor tiles as well as flagstones. The solvent free stone sealer is also suitable for sealing interior terracotta and york stone floor tiles.

The stone impregnator penetrates into the surface of the stone floor or worktop and provides a protective barrier against oil stains and water-based stains.

Smartseal Stone Impregnator is suitable for internal and external use. It can be used on any porous textured stone or masonry.

Please note prior to application of the solvent free stone impregnator, make sure the surface area is clean and dry first. For areas of heavy contamination and ingrained grime use the Heavy Duty Tile & Stone Cleaner.

If the grouting needs cleaning use the Grout Cleaner to remove any dirt. To ensure the grout looks like new or if you want to change the grout colour, use Grout Magic.

COVERAGE RATES:

Up to 30m² per litre depending on porosity of the stone surface being sealed. After application make sure natural stone impregnator has absorbed into the stone

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Prior to application of the stone impregnator the surface of the natural stone floor or worktop must be completely clean and dry. Apply liberally and evenly using a sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush or sponge. Make sure any excess sealer is removed with a dry cloth or sponge after 25-30 minutes.

2. A second application should be applied around 45-60 minutes after the first application, repeating the same process. It takes around 24 hours before the product is completely dry and provide full protection from staining. It is important to ensure the stone surface is free from water and oil spills during the curing period as staining could occur.

Please Note: Any areas that are not being sealed should be masked off for protection. We advise that when using any coloured grouting compounds a stain test should be carried out before proceeding.

MAINTENANCE: Clean treated areas with Smartseal pH Neutral Tile & Stone Cleaner. Avoid using any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents which can negatively impact and deteriorate the surface of the treated stone floor or worktop.

If there areas of dirty grouting that need cleaning use Grout Cleaner. You can also use Grout Magic to restore or change the colour of grouting prior to using the stone impregnator.
