Q: Hello, Is it fine to use the anti-slip agent with the colour tint & matt sealer too? Also, which tint is darker initially, platinum grey or steel grey?
A: Yes it is fine to use the anti-slip agent with the colour tint & matt sealer. Not much difference between the steel grey colour tint and platinum grey colour tint. The steel grey may be slightly darker but we would suggest getting some samlples to test first.
Q: What is the sf. Coverages of 500g of pigment
A: There is no specific coverage for the colour tints as it really does depend how much colour is required. Some imprinted concrete drives or patios need more colour than others due to the amount of wear and the time in between sealing. Generally one 500g tub is sufficient for two 25L drums of sealer which can cover up to 100sq m each.
Q: Hi, I have just had my concrete newly imprinted/laid, however the after is showing up as 2 completely different shades of grey. Will adding this tint into my sealer change it to 1 consistent colour?
A: This could be the answer. When specific / individual advice is required, it is best to send us pictures through our 'advice' page on our website. Hope that helps.
Grea service by Nigek and everything is going well so far. Would definitely use Smartseal again.
